Garden update

21/05/2013 by mike

If the weather would only stabilize itself then most of our big jobs would be finished, as it is we have redone the patio area with some new trellis around two sides, it is now quite the English garden room, we were going to do the job last year but never got round to it, it will afford us a bit more privacy and allows us to spread out the bonsai collection, plus it looks quite smart we think.

The fencing to keep out the neighbours is coming on very well and would be nearly finished if the last two days had not been broken up by thunder storms, still we have completed the worse bits and all should be wound up by the weekend, the veg and flower gardens are looking brill, so much has come out in the last two weeks.

We have succeeded in filling our wood store up ready for next winter so that can dry out through the summer once it gets warm, here is a picture of Maria and Roxy enjoying the sun one morning, it is a good place to sit first thing in the day as the sun rises over the mountains above our chalet.

Last but not least, after a bit of playing around I have so far overclocked my new system from 3.5ghz to 4.2ghz with no rise in temperature and it has been very stable for a week, very good processor and has speeded up all the Lightroom processes especially in Develop mode.
