Ok, I mentioned about my computer last time so I thought I would elucidate, I have been building my own PC’s for quite a few years now and like to replace them about every five to six years, mainly because they are wearing out and the hardware is not keeping pace with the software. I use my machine for graphics work, mostly with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, both of which do not require extreme graphics cards but do eat up memory when doing some tasks. Anyway, it is up and running and with the liquid cooling system it is nearly as quiet as Maria’s laptop, it is reasonably fast and so far i have not been tempted to over clock it but in the future I may well have a tinker, so for any techies out there this is the spec so far….

Since I have been coming here to Slovakia I have always wanted to snowboard down a certain mountain called Stoh and this Sunday at last I did it, Maria, Roxy and I walked the mountain ridge from the top station of the cabin lift at Snilovske Sedlo to Chleb from there to Poludnovy Grun finally to the top of Stoh which was a bit of a slog, then we rode the right hand ridge back down into the valley, I was boarding and Maria was ski-ing, it was a wicked ride and so worth the walk, from there we walked back up to Grun and then went down to Vratna car park, in total it took us 5 hours but was worth every kilometre, probably the last we will do this year as the temperature here at home was 19C today, till next winter this was a great finish……
