Ok so its nearly the end of January and I must be having a good time as it has just whizzed by, in between snowboarding and snowboarding I have now finished setting up the website for Maria’s grandfathers photographs, I wont tell you all about him as you can read it on the site but it is one of the most interesting projects I have undertaken and gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
I like to think that the site will become a sort of historical archive of his work which covers from the 1930s to the 1980s and is mainly about this area, anyway, you can judge for yourself by going to www.milansaradin.com
I am also in the process of setting up a completely new site for my work and hope to complete it in the next few weeks, the links to all these sites are in the side bar links section.
I look out of the window and it is snowing like a mad thing, which means it will be a difficult decision as to whether I go shopping tomorrow or into the mountains, who knows eh!!!!!
We get a lot of birds of prey around here and at this time of the year they like to take the little birds off the bird feeders, last week we had one and I went out with the camera and took some pictures, the images on this page were taken from about 5 metres with a 100-400mm telephoto lens and it is one of the few bird photos that I am quite pleased with, my brother who is a keen ornithologist seems to think it is a Goshawk, I don’t really have any idea but it was very impressive the way it looked me right in the eyes and was not at all timid, what do you think…..
