Sunday March 22nd
This week has definitely been interesting, the lockdown here appears to be working and has been extended in a lot of ways including businesses either closing down or employees working from home. We have not really been anywhere apart from walking the dog and ourselves, Maria went to town to get animal feeds and compost on Friday plus some tick treatment for Meddy from the vets, people seem to be heeding the governments request to stay at home and there does not look like there is very much panic buying in food shops.
We have been mainly tidying up around the garden, clearing ditches and as you can see from the photos it did indeed go from very warm 18c in the week to -5c today with a dusting of snow, the warm weather was not good, it makes stuff grow and then it will get burned by the frosts but thats nature eh.
The lambs are doing well and growing like mad, all the sheep are itching to get out in the fields but there is no grass to be seen so they will just have to wait, Maria decided to aerate the lawns which keep her busy for a few days.
I decided that as the PC I built was 7 years old I would replace it, I ordered the parts before they become difficult to buy from the UK and now I have put it together and am in the process of sorting it all out, definitely keeps me occupied which is the main thing at the moment.
